Adoption Basics

Parenting Advice

Foster Care

From Carrie Craft, your Guide to Adoption
I told you last year that I have given up on making new year resolutions. This year, I think I need to get back on track and set some new goals. Mostly because I learned that without set goals, I tend not to achieve as much.

But, I will continue with making a list of things I learned in the past year. I haven't made my list yet of things I learned in 2011, but I will. I enjoy reading over past lists: what I learned in 2008, what I learned in 2009, in 2010. I can tell you this, I have yet to repeat lessons learned. This definitely leaves me feeling more uplifted, like I did accomplish something during the year.
