From Heather Corley, your Guide to Baby Products
Gone are the days when families with small children stayed at home all day. Babies and toddlers are integrated into our active lives more than ever! The opportunities for memory-making are better than ever, but all that running around also means we end up carrying around lots of baby supplies.

Flying Objects: Baby's Supplies Pose Danger in a Crash
One reliable sign of a family is a fully-loaded minivan. Sippy cups in every cupholder, a big diaper bag on the passenger seat, baseball gear under the seat, and a stroller in the back. The gear that keeps your family prepared for activity can be dangerous in a crash, though. Take a look at what happened to this toddler from just one sippy cup in a crash.

Bugaboo Donkey Stroller Review
This stroller was so hotly anticipated that it sold out almost immediately in many stores, and there are waiting lists for any new models that arrive. It can be used as a single or a double, and can change to two-wheel mode to handle sand or snow. Oh, and it tops the stroller cost charts at about $1,500. Learn the pros and cons of the Bugaboo Donkey stroller, and see if it's right for keeping your family on the move.

Buying a Used Stroller
As stroller prices go up and up, many families are seeking out used strollers to save a little on a sweet ride. Here's how to save cash without sacrificing on the stroller features you want.

Stroll Away Stroller Hanger Review
Once you get home, a stroller can take up a lot of space, which is often at a premium in family homes. This stroller hanger allows you to stash most strollers on the back of a door, so you don't have to use up closet or garage space.

Parenting School Age Children

Health & Development

From Katherine Lee, your Guide to Parenting School Age Children
One issue that never fails to rankle me is the idea of anything that can damage a child's self-esteem. Case in point: A new study has found that as many as a third of clothing for girls ages 6 to 14 is sexualized. Aside from the ick factor, there is fact that putting such skewed emphasis on growing up so fast and in such a hurry is unhealthy for kids' perception of themselves and the world around them. Also in this week's Parenting School Age Children Newsletter: the best sunscreens for families, new summer movies for kids, and the most important kid safety tips to keep in mind for summer.

Best Sunscreens for Kids and Families
As summer approaches and you and your kids spend more time playing outside, be sure to check the expiration dates of your sunscreens. You should also check labels and make sure that they block both UVA and UVB rays and contain zinc or titanium... Read more

Disturbing Tally: Almost One Third of Clothing for Young Girls is Sexy
As many as 30 percent of clothes for young girls are sexualized, says a new study from Kenyon College in Ohio. Researchers looked at girls' clothing generally ranging in sizes from 6 to 14 on the websites of 15 popular retailers including Abercrombie Kids, Nieman Marcus, Kmart, and Target... Read more

New Summer Movies for Kids
Which summer movies for kids are you and your family most excited about? We are looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 2, which we were too busy to check out this weekend. As for the rest of the summer, many of the upcoming new kids' movies are either not age-appropriate for my 10-year-old son (such as Green Lantern and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, which are both rated PG-13) or something he might have gotten excited about a few years ago...
