Fun Family Service Project: Send Holiday Cards to the Troops
Starting to write out your Christmas cards this month? Need to get your family or youth group in the spirit of giving? Try this service project with your family. The American Red Cross has an effort currently to get one million holiday cards to the troops. Our family will be participating as we love to make cards and it helps teach my teens the value of saying thank you. More information on where to send the cards and their requirements(no envelopes needed) can be found at the American Red Cross Site. Be sure to start right away as the cards need to be postmarked by the 09th of December.
