From Heather Corley, your Guide to Baby Products
Many of you have commented on my original post about Pampers Dry Max disposable diapers, and the consensus is that a lot of parents noticed new diaper rashes or more serious diaper rashes after switching to this new style of diaper. However, CPSC says they can't find a connection or cause for the increased reports of rashes. Still struggling with diaper rashes? This week I have some diaper rash relief suggestions. Don't forget to talk with your baby's doctor if you need help getting rid of a serious diaper rash.

CPSC: Pampers Dry Max Diaper Rash is a Mystery
CPSC and Health Canada have investigated complaints about Pampers new Dry Max diapers, and these agencies say they can't find a definitive link between the new diaper technology and the terrible diaper rashes some of you have reported.

Diaper Rash Creams to Try
Every baby will get diaper rash at some point. It's a good idea to have some diaper cream on hand for those times. These diaper rash creams work well for many babies.

Cloth Diapering Your Baby
If your baby is prone to diaper rashes, you might consider giving cloth diapers a try. Parents who use cloth diapers report that their babies have diaper rashes less often than when they used disposables.

Eco-Disposable Diapers
Another diaper choice that might reduce diaper rashes is eco-disposable diapers. These diapers have all of the convenience of disposables, but are manufactured without some of the chemicals that could lead to irritation for baby.
