Toddler Christmas Activities
Little hands can sometimes feel a little left out when there's lots of holiday bustle. Be sure you're making time this year to include your toddler, even if it's just having her hold the door open while you carry in a load of gifts. When you get together as a family, sometimes older siblings can steal the show as there are so many tasks suited to their age and development. There are lots of fun activities (and bits of larger projects) that can keep toddlers engaged and included. Making a gingerbread house, for example, is impossible for your toddler to do alone, but there are many steps that she can be given so that you can say you built it together. If managing a gingerbread house seems like too much this year (if your toddler is very young or is still putting everything in her mouth) then try making gingerbread people instead with just icing as decoration. I've put together even more Christmas activities that you can do with your toddler this year. Maybe you'll find a new tradition on the list.
