61% of Teens in the USA Want to Be Virgins Until Marriage
OneHope, a Christian based organization released some new research recently that I find inspiring. It seems 61 percent of teens in the United States want to be virgins until marriage. The survey was given in 2010, online through a panelist company and through social networking websites to 5,108 teens between the ages of 13 and 18 in the United States.

More about what teens believe that came out of the study:
  • 82 percent believe God intended marriage to last a lifetime
  • 50 percent consider an unmarried man and woman a family
  • 59 percent said the Bible has little/no influence on their thoughts and actions
  • 62 percent believe truth is relative
  • 57 percent believe being good people and doing good deeds will get you into heaven
  • 69 percent watch MTV on a weekly basis
What do you think about these statistics? I wish more teens knew that doing good things can lead you to into heaven, that 57% seems low to me. Please share your thoughts, respectful opinions and experiences in the comments area.
