From Katherine Lee, your Guide to Parenting School Age Children
Could something as simple as eating apples daily help help lower bad cholesterol? That's exactly what a new study has found (and it's prompted me to eat an apple a day). Also in the news this week: A J.Crew image of a mom painting her young son's toenails pink sparked criticism by some pundits who claimed that it basically symbolized the destruction of our society as a whole (I can just imagine the folks at J.Crew plotting about taking down social mores with that picture, can't you? Plus, small (and cheap!) kid favorites to put in your child's Easter basket, and a call for entries for our Mother's Day Blog Carnival, all in this week's Parenting School Age Children Newsletter.
