How to Raise a Teenager Successfully
Successfully raising a teen is no simple task. It requires time, attention and effort. Plus, parents don't get to know if they've done a good job until their teen is grown. In other words, in order for a parent to feel like they've been successful at raising their teen, they need to feel their teen is successful in their own lives. So, keeping in mind that the reward is in the future, let's explore some parenting teenagers tips that will help you raise your teen successfully.

Demi Lovato Gets Out of Rehab and Has a Message for Teens
And it's one you'll want your teen to hear, especially if they are a fan. Demi, who is a Disney star of Sonny with a Chance and a singer who dated one of and went on tour with the Jonas brothers. She recently went into rehab for an eating disorder and a near breakdown. The message that she gave to teens in Seventeen magazine is twofold, first she said "Don't put yourself in danger. It's very crucial that you get your feelings out-but don't ever inflict harm on your body because your body is so sacred. I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she's worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything." And second she told the magazine that her parents were there for her. They stepped in and told her - mid concert tour - "You need to get some help." And they got her the help she needed. By sharing what happened, Demi has told teens everywhere that you can trust your parents when the going gets tough.

Is your teen a fan? Share this information and enjoy the conversation. I would also remind your teen that you are always there for them, Demi's story is such a good reminder. Let us know how the conversation went in the comments area.
