From Wayne Parker, your Guide to Fatherhood
A little time to catch up on my reading again, and these are some books I have read of late or have reread and enjoyed. Check out my thoughts and then pick up one of these books for a cool spring day sitting outside!

Raising a Modern Day Knight
I have been working to catch up on my reading again; it does seem to pile up!  But among the many books, articles and videos that I try to read... Read more

Dad Can We...? 45 Ways to be the Dad Your Kids Need
I get to read lots of books about fatherhood and parenting, and occasionally I find one that I want to recommend to my readers. And with the recent explosion of books available in the Kindle Store, there are even more that I am enjoying. My most recent read is the book Dad Can We...? 45 Ways to be the Dad Your Kids Need by Derek Semmler.

Parenting at the Speed of Trust
I count Dr. Stephen Covey as one of my mentors and perhaps the most influential business author in my life. Dr. Covey's son Stephen M.R. Covey has written a book, which like The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, has changed the way I think about relationships. The books is called The Speed of Trust and I recently read the book and attended a two day training program to help the participants implement the philosophy and practice in their lives.

Bobblehead Dad - 25 Life Lessons I Forgot I Knew
Bobblehead Dad, written by Jim Higley, is a memoir of a dad who lives through divorce, co-parenting, and a cancer scare and shares his life lessons. Higley is an entertaining writer and has a way of making the lessons of his life real, touching and motivating to fathers everywhere.
