From Heather Corley, your Guide to Baby Products
Crib recalls continue to be a problem for parents, but the latest news in the baby products world is about diapers. The new Pampers Dry Max disposables came out earlier this year, which is about the time that many parents say their babies developed serious diaper rashes, some that required medical treatment. CPSC has now opened an investigation on these diapers, due to parent complaints.

CPSC Investigates Pampers Dry Max Diapers
Have you tried the new Pampers Dry Max disposables? If so, what did you think? Did your baby end up with diaper rash? Lots of parents say their babies had pretty bad reactions to these new diapers. But for every parent who is unhappy, there are those who love the trim, ultra-absorbent Dry Max dipes.

Sorelle, C&T International Crib Recall
This new crib recall is also due to drop side hardware that can malfunction and allow the drop side to detach, either fully or partially. Either way, it's unsafe for baby when that happens. In addition, the slats can come off, which poses its own risk of injury. This recall covers cribs up to 10 years old, so check those cribs in storage, too.

Klean Kanteen Water Bottle Spouts Recalled
More than 1.7 million Klean Kanteen water bottle spouts are under recall because they can crack or break, posing a choking hazard. CPSC warns that the spouts can break while you're drinking from it, and that both children and adults are at risk of choking if that happens.

What Should I Do About Baby Products Recalls?
After the recent flurry of baby products recalls, it's a good time to take a look at what you should do if a product you own is affected by a recall. Who should you contact? What will the manufacturer do? Should you try to fix it yourself?
