Halloween is just around the corner, too, so take a look at some sweet costume choices for babies and toddlers. It's not too late to start making Halloween preparations! Graco Recalls 2 Million Strollers The spacing between the front tray and the seat bottom is narrow enough that an unharnessed child can slip between the two and become trapped by the head or neck. You can order a repair kit, and in the meantime, you should always make sure to use the stroller harness to keep your baby in the right spot. Hyland's Teething Tablets Recalled This popular teething remedy is being recalled because the FDA says there are inconsistent amounts of the active ingredient, belladonna, in the tablets. This is a voluntary recall, and you can contact the company for a refund or replacement if you're concerned about the safety of the product. Heritage Collection Cribs Sold at K-Mart Recalled With these drop-side cribs, the issue is the same as the crib recalls we've seen in recent months. The drop side can detach or break, which could allow a baby to be trapped. This was a popular crib model, so be sure to check out those model numbers if you purchased your crib at K-Mart. What Should I Do When My Baby's Gear Is Recalled? In the past, it was more common to receive a replacement product or a refund when a product you owned was recalled. As new standards and regulations have come out, there has been an increase in recalls, and many companies have chosen to send repair kits or some other recall fix instead of just swapping the product out. This means parents must read carefully to find out how a specific recall will be handled.
