Fisher-Price Recalls More than 10 Million Products
A lot of toys and toddler gear have been recalled by Fisher-Price. First off, the Healthy Care, Easy Clean and Close to Me high chairs have been recalled because children can fall against the back pegs used for high chair storage and suffer lacerations or other injuries. 14 children have been injured in this way.

The Little People Wheelies Stand 'n Play Rampway has been recalled because wheels on the cars can detach and pose a choking hazard. I hope child care centers are paying attention to this item (let your child care provider know!) since it's a pretty popular addition to toddler and preschool classrooms.

The Trikes and Trough toddler tricycles have been recalled because the ignition key that sticks out in front of the seat can result in (brace for it, seriously) genital bleeding. There have been 10 results in injuries with six girls (ages 2-3) needing medical attention.

Lastly, the valve on the following toys can detach and pose a choking hazard:

  • Baby Playzone Crawl and Cruise Playground
  • Baby Playzone Crawl and Slide Arcade
  • Ocean Wonders Kick and Crawl Aquarium
  • Baby Gymnastics Play Wall
  • 1-2-3 Tetherball
  • Bat and Score Goal

If you have any of these toys, some of which were manufactured as far back as 1997, stop using them and contact Fisher-Price at 800-432-5437 or visit their website for more details about replacements, repair kits or refunds.
