From Wayne Parker, your Guide to Fatherhood
No one needs to tell most dads that Halloween is a totally fun holiday. For the little kids, it is about dressing up, playing with costumes, trick or treating and cute little ghosts and pumpkins. For the older kids, Halloween is a bit more macabre. But in any circumstance, make sure it is fun for you and them.

Great Halloween Recipes for Dads and Kids
Halloween is a favorite holiday for many dads. It is a little spooky and a time for lots of fun. Here are some easy and delicious recipes that you can make with your kids to add a little variety to your Halloween celebrations.

Keeping the Kids Safe This Halloween
Sugar hyped kids, dark streets, and costumes can lead to trouble for kids at Halloween. Check out these tips for trick or treaters, for kids going to parties and for you at home or on the road.

Easy and Awesome Pumpkin Carving Patterns
I love carving a Halloween pumpkin with the kids that all the neighbors talk about. I'm not into the usual "triangles for eyes and nose and toothless grin" kind of pumpkin. But I am also not a tremendously talented carver. So, I like to use patterns that can be transferred to the pumpkin and then use that pattern to guide the knife.

Watch a Spooky Movie
This is a great list of horror movies that fit right into Halloween. But if your kids are smaller, check out the little kids' Halloween movie list or the school aged kids' movie list for more age appropriate flicks. Then get some popcorn popped and enjoy a scary moment with the gang.
